'Survivor' Season 50: Familiar faces to marquee guest list, what we know so far about CBS's hit reality show
With 'Survivor' Season 49 done, the focus now shifts to the semicentennial season. 'Survivor' Season 5o features a slew of fan-favorite names and will premiere February 25, 2026. The game will be themed "In the Hands of the Fans." Earlier this year, audiences voted on several parts of the game ahead of filming, which included the need for immunity idols for players. The cast sees some familiar names return — some even for their fifth time to get their hands on the $1 million prize.
The three-hour pilot premieres at 8 p.m. EST and features 24 players from the iconic series' first 49 seasons. Jeff Probst returns as the host. Making appearances will be singer Zac Brown and popular YouTuber MrBeast, with marquee names in Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish included in the milestone season. In addition, the season will also feature the first-of-its-kind scavenger hunt that sees 50 immunity idols hidden across all 50 states. Fans will be issued the task of finding the idols to win prizes. The trailer of the new season was released earlier, with the description focusing on the challenge, "To celebrate Survivor 50, we're inviting you to be a part of the fun. For the first time ever, we're taking Survivor across America. We've hidden 50 immunity idols -- one in every state. Your job is to solve the clues and find the idol for a shot at an unbelievable prize."
"Survivor" will air on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and on Paramount+
