'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39: Fans call Noura a hot mess after she fails to convince her tribe

Little did Noura know that her happy greeting at Island of the Idols would turn into a task that puts her vote at the tribal council on the line.

Noura might look like she knows it all and is strong, but when it comes to lying, she is a total hot mess and there's no going back from it.

On Wednesday night when 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 returned to our screens, we witnessed the beginning of a showmance between Dean and Chelsea, Jamal finding himself an immunity idol, a blindsided elimination, and a visit to the Island of the Idols. At the start of the episode, the Vokai tribe got to unanimously select someone from their team, and send them on a boat to the Island of the Idols. With no one wanting to go to the Island of the Idols, Noura stepped up for the task.

All excited, she reached the Island and is greeted by Boston Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz. But little did she know that her happy greeting would turn into a task that puts her vote at the tribal council on the line.

As she devoured a watermelon, Noura listened to Rob and Sandra giving her advice as to how to make the tribe listen to her. Later Rob told her if she convinced everyone in her tribe to let her be the caller, she would get the chance to block another person's vote at the next tribal council and if she failed to convince them, she would lose her vote at the next tribal council.

Without trying to bargain for a better deal or figuring out the pros and cons of accepting the deal, she agreed with Rob. Living in her own world she headed back to the tribe and tried her best to convince them, only to fail at it miserably. Instead of trying to lie like Kellee did or just coming clean and telling them about the exact task given to her by Sandra and Rob, she went ahead with her own idea of telling them she would tell the tribe all about the next immunity challenge, only if they let her decide the role.

But in the end, when it came to the task, the tribe decided to go with Jason as their caller and made Noura stay out of the challenge. Her lies never worked with the tribe who knew something fishy was up and didn't want to trust her in being the caller.

Taking to social media post the challenge, fans claimed that Noura was a total hot mess and failed miserably at trying to convince her tribe in letting her be the caller. "Noura with this explanation Im screaming. she couldn't come up with a better lie lmao #Survivor," a fan wrote on Twitter.

Adding to that another fan said, "Can Noura be any dumber?? My gosh!!!!" a fan shared. While another wrote, "I recorded the #survivor episode and decided to rewatch it and say....im sorry yall but wtf kinda lie did Noura say and why did she think it would work? That lie was so bad...like so fucking bad...she honestly would of had a better job just sayin the truth."

"Noura, bless your heart. You're a hot mess. And a horrible liar. #Survivor #SurvivorIslandoftheIdols," wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan said, "Noura is cracked hunny and I’m scream I love her."

"Noura girl what are you doing? That lie was terrible. #Survivor," wrote a fan.
