Supernatural Season 15: Five beloved characters we definitely want to see before saying goodbye to CW show

While Sam, Dean, and Cas continue to be the reason we tune in to the show, there are some friends, family members and even enemies of these three with whom we have fallen in love and would love to see them again
PUBLISHED OCT 7, 2019

It's been fifteen seasons since 'Supernatural' premiered, and in all those years, they have given us many brilliant characters who have come and gone. While Sam (Jared Padelecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Cas (Misha Colling) continue to be the reason we tune in to the show, there are some friends, family members and even enemies of these three with whom we have fallen in love.

Thanks to the temporary and reversible nature of death on The CW show, we have had many beloved characters return over the seasons, and before we say the final goodbye with the Season 15 finale, we sure hope to see some of them back in action.

Felicia Day’s Charlie Bradbury

An adoptive sister to Sam and Dean, we have seen Charlie put her life at risk for the Winchesters time and again. When she died in Season 10, fans were heartbroken, but we did see a different version of her from the alternate universe, who was a member of the resistance. While it would be a joy to see this Charlie again, nothing can beat the return of the OG Charlie, be it through flashbacks or through supernatural ways.

Jim Beaver's Bobby Singer

Bobby, one of John Winchester's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) close friends, was a father figure to Sam and Dean. He too put his life on the line for the boys whenever needed, and his death was a devastating blow to the fandom. Over the years, he has returned in the form of a ghost, as a resident of heaven, and as the version from the alternate universe. It certainly would not be a season finale without Bobby standing by his boys.

Jake Abel's Adam Milligan

Sam and Dean's stepbrother Adam, though he appeared only for a very short while in the series, is an integral part of their story. He offered himself as the vessel for Michael in Season 5 and has been trapped in a cage with him since. We have heard the brothers talk about rescuing him once or twice, but they haven't actually done it yet, and Season 15 may just be the right time for it. He may be furious with his older brothers for not getting him out sooner, but that's another few episodes of Winchester family drama for us!

Kathryn Newton's Claire Novak

One of the biggest collective heartbreaks that the 'Supernatural' fandom suffered was when The CW decided not to move forward with the spin-off series 'Wayward Sisters', featuring Sheriff Jody Mills and her adopted daughters. Claire, who has been living with Jody after Cas rescued her, is a hunter and a really good one at that and following her adventures would have been an absolute joy. The next best thing we can expect is for her to make an appearance in a few episodes, hopefully helping Sam and Dean with their biggest challenge yet in the final season.

Genevieve Padalecki's Demon Ruby

Jared, much like the rest of the cast and crew found a second family in 'Supernatural', but he also happened to find his actual family on the sets - Genevieve. The actress who portrayed Demon Ruby on the show is now married to Jared and together they are parents to three children. When asked if she would make a comeback for the final season, Jared said,  “She doesn’t have an episode or anything yet, but Gen and I are like, ‘We’ve got to have Tom and Shep and Odette on the show! In some way shape or form, even if they’re sitting in a diner somewhere or something.' But yeah, there is a possibility and I’m really trying to make it happen.”
