Spoilers for Season 15 Episode 16 'Drag Me Away (From You)'

'Supernatural' fans — especially those siding with the younger Winchester brother Sam — were left with their fists pumping high up in the air for their hero just raised his voice at none other than his brother Dean and asked him to put a stop to his constant condescension. In short, Sam stans are what the internet would call 'wildin' all because 'sam got to say 'stop!!' in a higher volume than usual'.

The scene came right at the end of Season 15's Episode 16 when Dean and Sam were returning from yet another successful demon hunting. On their way back, Dean told Sam the truth about Jack's fate and how he's going to die when he kills Chuck and Amara. Sam, pissed about being left in the dark once again, goes off at Dean. First, he insists they can't let Jack die and when Dean says they don't have a choice, Sam significantly raises his voice, practically yelling at Dean 'no' and later 'stop' when he tries to apologize. This is very out of character for Sam, who is usually the docile one, even though he can be a little reckless and less calculated at times.

Usually, Dean takes the lead and keeps babying Sam — glimpses of which from their past were sprinkled throughout this episode too. For instance, a flashback showed Dean chastising Sam with loud proclamations all because the younger boy wanted to go to college, but there's no future for them outside monster-hunting apparently. So, the fact that Sam finally showed up for himself and stood up to his condescending prick of a brother became a huge thing.

"When dean said yes and sam raised his voice and said NO!!! I don't like the brothers fighting but I am TIRED of sam just accepting things. they're equals, they're brothers and sam has a voice! so f**k yeah, SPEAK YOUR MIND SAMMY!" tweeted a fan.

"Young sam stealing a college guide book dean telling sam no school would accept a dumbass b***h he got accepted to stanford with a full ride the way I would’ve done anything to see that iconic 'fight' before sam left," pointed out another.

"Dean treating Sam like a child AGAIN and thinking he couldn’t handle it and sam just being absolutely f***ing FED UP about being cast aside," were some of the complaints.

Noting the most crucial element however was this fan who tweeted, "spn spoiler i'm sorry but sam yelling back at dean just hurt bc sam doesn't yell like AT ALL and he was so hurt by the thought of losing jack that he literally broke down."

There was some major Dean hate too, as a fan tweeted, "why is dean flopping so bad in this ep??? hiding the truth from sam, calling young! sam dumb, saying he's okay with jack dying,,, boy."

In short, this above gif was pretty much the common reaction, as put by fans "sam stans bc sam got to say 'stop!!' in a higher volume than usual."

'Supernatural' Season 15 airs on Thursdays at 8 pm only on The CW.
