'Supergirl' Season 5 Episode 16: 'Super Alex' is coming and thrilled fans say 'she is finally getting justice'
Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) got an episode to herself after what seems like ages. Along with her girlfriend Kelly (Azie Tesfai) and J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood), Alex has to rescue a man stuck in a virtual reality escape room.
The episode ends on a rather eerie note: Alex discovers that her father Jeremiah is dead and it seems as if the creepy Leviathan lady has his body.
The next episode seems to be another Alex-centric one, and fans are all up for seeing "Super Alex". The official synopsis reads, "Alex uses a pair of obsidian contact lenses to visit a virtual National City where she takes on a whole new persona; Kelly helps William investigate Lex; Kara deals with difficult news."

A fan wrote, "Alex about to get stuck in the VR sim on repeat, huh? As superalex?"
Apparently, in this new virtual reality, Alex is also a mother. "SUPER ALEX, ALEX AS A MOM, ALEX IF SHE NEVER WENT TO THE DEO. WHY COULDNT THEY GIVE US THAT," wrote a fan.
"Super Alex is coming!" tweeted a fan.
An emotional fan wrote, "I'm gonna cry... Finally the show making justice to one of the leads. The Danvers Sisters r the core, the heart and soul of the show. Finally we get our #SuperAlex."
Back in January, Leigh had shared a photo of herself wearing a super-suit. She captioned the photo, "If Alex could fly too..." In the photo, Alex is sporting bangs ('Grey's Anatomy' fans might find this hairstyle familiar) and is wearing a suit that is black and blue in color.
