In a shocking turn of events, Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard made headlines when they announced the end of their engagement in the late summer of 2023, just a few months before their scheduled wedding date. Lindsay took to social media on September 14, 2023, to officially confirm the split.
She started the statement by saying, “I would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years."
"This was not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first," she further added.
Kyle Cooke, a close friend of the former couple, revealed that despite their efforts to salvage their relationship through counseling, Radke and Hubbard struggled to find common ground on significant issues.
During an interview with E! News in October 2023, the co-founder of Carl's Loverboy provided some information about the breakup of his friends. "It's almost like they couldn't even communicate anymore without a third party. Carl was like, 'That is not how I'm gonna spend the next 50 years of my life,'" he told the media outlet.

Radke also revealed some shocking insults that Hubbard allegedly directed towards him during their ongoing relationship issues. "Time and time again you're over-questioning, you bulldoze me, you called me a loser. You called me a little b***h, you called me a little baby, little mama's boy, 'run home to your parents,'" he added.
Things took a turn for the worse when he mentioned his ongoing struggle with sobriety and expressed his belief that Lindsay was not supportive of him in his journey toward recovery.
He went on to say, "I don't think you trust me. I think you think I'm gonna relapse. I think you want me to relapse. I think you want me to fall back so you can control me even more."
