'Stumptown' Episode 9: Will Dex lose Grey, Miles and Ansel after drunkenly sleeping with Liz?
'Stumptown' is going on a mid-season break after the upcoming Episode 9 of the first season and you best believe it is going to end with a bang.
In the recently aired Episode 8 of the ABC series, we saw how Grey (Jake Johnson) requested his best friend Dex (Cobie Smulders) to actually make an effort to be close with his new girlfriend Liz (Monica Barbaro). He did force them to spend time together but what he did not see coming was for both of them to hook up after a night of drinking and gambling.
We see that Liz, who was eager to spend time with Dex, turned out to be a good luck charm for her and the two women were seen hugging and getting physically very close to each other at the casino. It remains to be seen if they actually hooked up or just drunkenly passed out next to each other in Dex's bed.
In the trailer for the upcoming 'Dex Education', we see that Liz is, in fact, fully naked, while Dex is semi-naked and it leads us towards the conclusion that Dex probably made the moves on his best friend's girl.
It would be the twist we want to see on the show if it were to be revealed that the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. After all, who wants to see Dex stoop so low as to break the trust of her best friend. In the trailer we see Grey confronting her about the same, and Ansel (Cole Sibus) revealing that Dex and Liz did have a "sleepover".
We also see Miles (Michael Ealy) walking out of Bad Alibi when he hears what happened the previous night. It remains to be seen if Dex has a fallout with both of them this episode, but that definitely seems to be where the story is headed.
Meanwhile, Ansel's displeasure with Dex and Grey for treating him like a child has been abundantly recorded, and we have a strong feeling he is going to make a bold move before the show goes on its mid-season break?
We are excited to find out if Dex will lose all three men in her life at the same time when Season 1 Episode 9 of 'Stumptown', titled 'Dex Education', airs on Wednesday, December 11 on ABC.
