'Stumptown' Episode 5 will have to wait because 'Harry and Meghan: An African Journey' is taking over ABC's primetime slot

Thankfully, this break will only last a week and we will get back to Dex's story on Wednesday, October 30.

I find it hard to believe that the Venn diagram of 'Stumptown' fans and fans of the royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would actually overlap. Well, ABC is about to find out if that actually happens on Wednesday night.

Instead of our usual dose of Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders), we'll be getting the hour-long documentary 'Harry and Meghan: An African Journey' on Wednesday, and we're pretty sure most 'Stumptown' fans are going to be disappointed by this news, especially since we are dying to know what happened to Grey (Jake Johnson). Moreover, Dex just had a big win and we want to see how she celebrates, better yet what new case she will take on.

ABC's primetime spot reserved for another popular new show, 'Emergence,' on Tuesday nights was also taken over by another special. Diane Sawyer's special interview with Cameron Douglas, titled 'Douglas Dynasty: Fame, Addiction, and Finding Home' was aired Tuesday night at 10 pm (PST) instead of the new Allison Tolman show. Why should Wednesday be any different?

Thankfully, this break will only last a week and we will get back to Dex's story on Wednesday, October 30. We will get to see exactly who kidnapped Grey and why. He was acting a little shady in the previous episode, but we know that he's a good egg; at least, we hope so for Dex's sake.

We know that he had some connection with really dangerous people back in the day, which landed him as a prime suspect in a murder investigation recently. And, although his name was cleared of that crime, there may yet be many dangers awaiting him. Thankfully, he has Dex by his side, and hopefully, even Detective Hoffman (Michael Early).

We can barely wait for Season 1 Episode 5 of 'Stumptown' to watch Dex rescue Grey and save the day, with Hoffman by her side, when the episode airs on Wednesday, October 30.
