The highly-anticipated Season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’ has finally arrived on Netflix and fans are really excited to know what the show has in store for them this time around. Now, we know that the series has introduced a new villain, Vecna, this time around and those who know about ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ will realize how dangerous he is.

The Duffer Brothers have certainly pushed the boundaries for the latest season and the results have been extraordinary. The fourth edition sees the entire group in different situations, trying to deal with one problem that’s about to end Hawkins. Vecna has been wreaking havoc in the town and slowly killing people. The only person who can beat him is Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), but she is unable to channel her powers after the Starcourt Battle.

One of the fans wrote, “Volume 1 of new Stranger Things – incredible. Definitely dialed up the scariness. Gutted about having to wait until 1st July for volume 2.” Another social media user wrote, “Ok, well that was AMAZING. I’d say the best season of the series. Sadie, Millie, and Jaime were the best performances IMO. Robin is my new fave, CGI was on point, and I need Nancy/Steve to happen again. Overall 10/10 season.”

“Stranger Things 4 was so good! I watched it all day. I love it when you watch a show and have no idea what’s coming next,” tweeted another fan. “#StrangerThings4 feels like a scrapped Nightmare on Elm Street film and I LOVE it. Definitely my favorite season so far.”

Meanwhile, there were many who were left flabbergasted after the ending of Volume 1 and labeled it “insane”.

“Just finished episode 7 of #StrangerThings4 and HOLY F*****G SHIT. I can’t wait for the other two ep. to come out. This has been insane. Well worth the wait,” wrote another Twitter user. “HOLY. F*****G. SHIT. Episode 7 literally has me sitting here with my jaw dropping!” said another one.

Another fan opined, “Wow stranger things season 4 volume 1 ending got me too hyped for volume 2! This keeps getting better wow.” Another fan tweeted, “The writers, producers, and actors never let me down when it comes to this show!! This is definitely what I needed right now!! Worth the wait!!”

Social media can’t stop praising the latest season for being visually stunning and extraordinary in terms of storytelling. Fans have waited three years for the new season of ‘Stranger Things’ and it seems Season 4 was worth the wait.

The ending of Volume 1 saw Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington being the last ones to enter Hawkins after being trapped in the Upside Down. However, Vecna manages to capture Nancy and tells her that he is the son of Victor Creel. He gives her the complete picture of killing his mother and sister and putting the blame on Victor. He was eventually experimented upon at Hawkins by Dr. Brenner. However, everyone is worried for Nancy because she is unable to escape Vecna.

A still from ' Stranger Things' Season 4 (Netflix)

Will she make it out alive or become one of the main characters to die in the fourth season? We would have to wait till July for getting an answer to that question.
