Netflix gave something for fans to talk about by releasing the first eight minutes of 'Stranger Things' Season 4 on Youtube. The response was all reactions to how the season opener was and needless to say, fans were shocked at the horror and gore it gave a taste. From scattering dead children across the screen to highlighting Eleven's (Millie Bobbie Brown) raw abilities. The episode also gave a look at the life of Matthew Modine's Dr Brenner who was eventually portrayed as the key antagonist.

The snippet also gave a look at Eleven's predecessor, Ten, who had the abilities of a psychic. The fans however focussed more on Brenner and the horror that was on full display. Here's a quick read of the official synopsis before jumping into the reactions on social media: "It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends is separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of theUpside Down."

'Stranger Things' season 3 ending explained: What happens to Eleven and the Mind Flayer?

"#StrangerThings is going to be amazing. Just the first 8 minutes were brilliant. Goosebumps and mixed emotions already. I cannot imagine how great the rest of the season will be," one of the tweets read. This was seconded by another who wrote, "stranger things is kinda crazy for including imagery of dead little children within the first 8 minutes of season 4 like damn this shit just started."

Some opted to go back and watch the previous seasons and stay primed for the new season. "Rewatching #StrangerThings season 2, where Eleven goes into her mom’s memories…and now I have a lot more questions after seeing the first 8 minutes of season 4 and the timing of each of these events," a fan opined. A fan remarked that Brenner was not necessarily a villain by choice. "I'm not yet convinced @MatthewModine's Brenner is inherently evil nor would I go solely on the latest 8 minutes of #StrangerThings #StrangerThings4 footage. But I'm ready for a deeper & longer dive into what's really going on in that universe."

"How is it possible, in a mere 8 minutes, that you now question what you thought of someone, were you wrong all this time, are they really kinder than you imagined? It think it’s possible," a fan tweeted. "The first 8 minutes of Stranger Things 4 is on YouTube and all I gotta say is what is going on is this a horror movie," a comment read.
