Spoiler Alert for 'Station 19' Season 3 Episode 7 — 'Satellite of Love'

Relationships (or should we call them hookups) move one step ahead as the new 'Station 19' episode unleashes new couple dynamics. Amid a set of clashes, mismatches, and hallucinations, the hour-long drama takes many new twists and turns this time around.

As the episode begins, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Jack Gibson (Grey Damon) are seen between the sheets. Meanwhile, Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre) seems to have moved on to the next level with Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato). Ben Warren (Jason George), meanwhile, readies the new Physician Response Team truck for the field as his suspicions about Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) and the missing Fentanyl continue to grow.

However, he finally confronts Sullivan. "Three bottles are missing. We counted. Both of us counted," he asks him. Sullivan is still not ready to own up to his mistake. File a police report, he says. Due to the overdose, he has hallucinations and he has a conversation with his best friend, Fire Chief Lucas Ripley (Brett Tucker) — who has been long dead. "You were good at everything except asking for help, and that will be your downfall," he tells Sullivan. Sullivan's condition is getting worse by the day and he really needs help.

In an intense scene, when the team is called to monitor an aircraft explosion, Vic traverses through the foam to get to the fire. For a minute, a big fear instills in our hearts whether or not she will make it safely out of there, but she does. Thankfully, Maya pulls her out the moment she catches fire. Even though the story is crucial, the unreal CGI makes it terribly disappointing.

In another controversial decision, Maya asks Gibson and Rigo Vasquez (Rigo Sanchez) to work together. "Why don't we start with an apology," she says and they are forced to reconcile. The hatred, however, still lies deep in their hearts and that doesn't end too well for either. Vasquez hurts himself and Gibson tries to save his life. While the situation comes under control later, Andy gets angry at Maya, saying, "Everything is the Captain's fault." Maya retorts back at the team, imposing her seniority and demanding them not to "question every single decision," of hers.

Towards the end of the episode, Sullivan comes to Andy for help. She immediately starts to blame him for being a "bad boss" and a "worse friend" for giving her promotion to Maya. He tries to confess, "I am in trouble," and even admits that he is "in love" with her. "I am failing at loving you, failing at being your friend, at being your boss."

Andy, however, is unperturbed. "I can't be angry at my dad because he is dying but you are perfectly healthy," she says. No matter if she said it in anger, it seems like a rather selfish and silly stance from her side. Do people only forgive others if they are dying? 'Station 19' needs to fix its relationships and it needs to do it soon.

In other news, a new character is introduced — the new Fire Chief's son, Emmett Dixon, who joins the team as a probationary hire — and he may soon be the new love interest in Travis Montgomery's life. What we missed in this episode was flashbacks of Travis and his late husband Michael. As new episodes of the series air every Thursday on ABC, it might hint at the new gay love.
