Spoilers for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 Episode 7 'Dangerous Debt'

'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' is back with another installment of Ahsoka Tano's (Ashley Eckstein) first story of the season and it's been generating some mixed responses. On the one hand, the episode featured cameos by some Mandalorians. So that's something to look forward to in the next episode. And it did give us some insight into the origins of Trace Martez (Brigitte Kali) and Rafa Martez (Elizabeth Rodriguez).

That said, the plot did end up right where it began with Ahsoka and the Martezes first escaping imprisonment and then getting recaptured. A number of fans have taken to Twitter to share their opinions on the episode and it looks like most of them are not happy.

One fan tweeted, "Another wasted episode in my opinion for #CloneWars season 7 an episode like this would be great if it was full season but with four remaining episodes left and not whole lot of process in the plot so far this season is not clicking for me (sic)."

Another fan wrote, "Wow the next episode has a lot to make up. Better tie in with the Clone Wars now."

"ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?" Yet another frustrated fan said. "WE SPENT THE WHOLE EPISODE ONLY TO END IT WHERE IT STARTED. WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE!?!?!"

"I am a die-hard SW fan and I enjoyed the CLONE WARS immensely in the past," one fan wrote. "But this season seems mediocre and that's putting it mildly. I don't know what's not clicking but I'll keep watching anyway."

Despite the negative comments though, there were a few who did actually like the episode. One of the fans who came out in defense of Episode 7 tweeted, "I think you are missing the point completely. What plot? If you ever watched Clone Wars you'd know a plot is 4 episodes at most. This is a character story, not a plot story. This episode was important in developing Ahsoka's character big time."

Another fan wrote, "Despite the episode going in a complete circle, I loved it. Can't wait for the next #clonewars episode."

What did you think of the episode? Did you feel like the character exposition made it worth it or was it just a waste of time? Let us know in the comments below.
