'Star Wars: Resistance' Season 2 Episode 7 preview: 'Relic Raiders' channel Indiana Jones as Kaz and team explore an ancient temple
The Colossus is on its way to a full recovery, but it’s not quite there yet. It needs supplies, and in the meanwhile, Kaz (Christopher Sean) and his team explore ancient ruins on a mysterious planet. What secrets does this ancient temple hold? There’s only one way to find out.
Last episode channeled its inner ‘Jurassic Park’ with its dinosaur-like creatures deep beneath the Earth. The next episode seems to be jumping to another Spielberg homage, from ‘Jurassic Park’ to ‘Indiana Jones’ as Kaz and team discover an ancient Sith temple and raid the ruins for relics within. ‘Star Wars’ released a promo on its YouTube channel for the season’s 7th episode. The official synopsis reads: ‘When Kaz and team arrives on a mysterious planet to buy supplies, they find the outpost has been abandoned and a secret Sith Temple has been raised.”

From the promo, it would appear that this is an episode that sees Kaz wrestle with faith and the Force. As they uncover the secrets of this Sith temple, will Kaz learn to believe in something he can’t see, hear or feel? The series has not made many mentions of the Force, though if the team is going to be exploring a Sith temple, it might be the wrong side of the Force that Kaz is going to be coming into contact with. The Dark Side of the Force is nothing to be trifled with.
This episode would seem to be another diversion from the main plot, though there’s always a chance that something discovered in a Sith temple could tie into the series’ larger story involving the First Order.
