'Southern Charm' Season 8: Taylor Ann unsure if Shep would be 'faithful' in case of pregnancy scare
If you've been keeping up with 'Southern Charm' over the years, then you know that the show has definitely mellowed down, in a sense. Season 8 has certainly seen a considerable amount of changes, with the cast trying to settle down or at least gain some sort of stable lifestyle when it comes to love and friendship.
Don't get us wrong though, there is still plenty of drama to go around. Between Kathryn and Naomie waiting to fight at the drop of a hat or Craig opening up about how he can no longer trust Austen, a lot is happening in the current season. And while most of the cast claims to have changed (for the better or worse), some things seem to remain the same. And in this case, it is Shep.

With most of his friends settling down or at least trying to, it looks like Shep has no plans on doing so anytime soon. In Episode 3, Shep spoke to John Pringle about how kids were not on his agenda as he believes that they tend to disrupt a person's life and he was not ready to give up his lifestyle. And while there is no shame in not wanting kids, it looks like Shep's girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green is not on the same page as him. As the couple sat down to discuss their future, Taylor called him out on not being able to step up to the plate if a situation were to occur where she got pregnant. She explained that while they did have a pregnancy scare, Shep reaction was to think of himself and not about her. She added that she didn't feel reassured that she could trust him to be there or to be "faithful and supportive."

It didn't help Shep's argument that he has not exactly been faithful in the past, seeing that he kissed an old flame last year while dating Taylor. Shep joked that he was "not a safe bet" to which Taylor agreed. Shep explained that the minute he was told to do something, he had a tendency to do the opposite. But for him, at the end of the day, he wanted Taylor. However, Taylor explained that she might want different things, like marriage and kids. To which Shep's only response was that they'll "cross that bridge" when they come to it.
'Southern Charm' Season 8 airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
