Season 8 of 'Southern Charm' seems to be the one where everyone is working through their relationships. Love is certainly a running theme this time around, as the cast tries to maintain stable relationships and move on to the next step. However, happy relationships might not be on the cards for everyone this season.

Kathryn and Chleb seemed as though they were a stable couple, but during Kathryn's birthday party, things began to unravel when Chleb spoke to Venita, which angered Kathryn. And while the fight seemed like a small one, Kathryn was upset that he had a conversation she should have had, causing the issue to snowball.

With Kathryn calling it quits with Chleb back in Episode 3, it looks like Chleb was not ready to say goodbye just yet. As he sat down with his cousin Chelsie, he explained what the issue with Kathryn was. It was not easy for him to get over their breakup, seeing that he had been with her for over a year. Unfortunately, Chleb explained that Kathryn needed him to be more expressive, even though he did convey how he felt. Chelsie and Chleb joked that they might not always wear their emotions on their face, but that doesn't mean that he didn't care. Fans took to Twitter to talk about how they think Chleb dodged a real bullet.

"It's not that Chleb, Cathryn is an emotional vampire. #SouthernCharm" said a fan. "All I’m hearing from this conversation Kathryn is having with Olivia is what she wants someone to do for her. What is she willing to do for a partner? That was Chleb’s point. It’s always all about her. #SouthernCharm" added another. "#SouthernCharm Chleb you dodged a bullet…you don’t want cray cray in your life. Misery loves company and you don’t want that." said a fan. "Caleb is too nice for Kathryn. I bet she gets back with Thomas. They are better matched.  #SouthernCharm" wrote another.

Kathryn too was under the impression that the break-up was for the best, as she explained to Olivia that Chleb wasn't catering to her emotional needs and that she was not willing to hold out for that long. What do you think? Are Kathryn and Chleb better off apart? Or was Chleb the grounding energy that Kathryn needs? Sound off in the comments below and tell us what you have to say!
