The nine-time Emmy nominee with one win is currently working on a Netflix’s upcoming series based on the world’s strange happenings amid lockdown and quarantine. The anthology series has been aptly titled ‘Social Distance’

Plot
‘Social Distance’ navigates life in quarantine. The show producers said, “We’ve been inspired to create an anthology series that tells stories about the current moment we are living through — the unique, personal, deeply human stories that illustrate how we are living apart, together.”
“The experience of social distancing is currently universal, but no individual story is the same. Through a broad spectrum of tales and moments, some seismic and some mundane, we hope to capture a moment in time. And we hope that Social Distance will help people feel closer to one another,” their statement read further.

The entire creation and production of the series is taking place virtually. According to Deadline, the writer and directors work in their respective spaces, while the actors are shooting themselves from their homes.

Jenji Kohan
Jejnji Kohan is an American television writer and producer who is known for creating Showtime’s comedy drama’s ‘Weeds’ and Netflix’s hit series ‘Orange is the New Black’ which follows women prisoners. Kohan was won an Emmy for serving as a supervising producer for ‘Tracey Takes On…’.
Weisman Graham, who previously worked with Kohan in ‘Orange is the New Black’ is serving as the writer and showrunner for ‘Social Distance’. Meanwhile, Diego Velasco is helming the series along with the role of an executive producer. Herrmann, McCormick and Weisman Graham have also served as the executive producers.
