Now that the Snowpiercer killer has been caught, it's time for the train's biggest murder trial ever but will justice be served? The answer to that question will decide the future of the train and there has never been more pressure on Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly).

At the end of Episode 4 'Without Their Maker', LJ Folger (Annalise Basso) was revealed to be the real killer, using her bodyguard Erik (Matt Murray) as a scapegoat. Even though she's been arrested for her crimes, there's no actual evidence that Melanie or the trained detective Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) has managed to dig up that can fully incriminate her so unless she admits her guilt, chances are she'll walk away free.

To make matters worse, the synopsis for Episode 5 already reveals that there's going to be plenty of class tensions brewing even before the trial begins. With the killer coming from First Class and the victims belonging to Third, this trial will be tapping directly into Snowpiercer's melting pot of class divisions and one wrong step on Melanie's part could blow up the whole train.

Previously, First Class has remained above the law using their wealth and privilege but if Melanie doesn't give justice to Third, the lower classes aren't going to shut up and take it anymore. And with a revolution already brewing in the Tail, there's already plenty of anger rising across the train against Melanie and the rest of the train's staff.

Ultimately, it all falls to Melanie to make the right call. The fact remains that even with all their wealth, First Class can't cause nearly as much damage as Third and the Tail together might be able to wreak on the train and if she doesn't give them the justice they're demanding, Third Class might just rise up and side with the Tail against them all.

Here's the synopsis for Episode 5 'Justice Never Boarded': "Tensions between Third Class and First Class are boiling as Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) stages the trial of the Snowpiercer killer. Third Class threatens a work stoppage, demanding representation on the jury, and Melanie makes a fateful decision about which side to favor."

'Snowpiercer' airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on TNT.
