TNT's post-apocalyptic drama 'Snowpiercer' is entering its third episode and tensions across the eternal train are rising higher than ever. After nearly seven years of going around the world, the poor who live at the Tail of the train are growing impatient for their revolution but the rich might just get there first.

Order on the Snowpiercer is maintained through a strict balance of appeasement for the rich and debasement for the poor. But what happens when the rich people, who have armed bodyguards ready to kill for them, begin to feel constricted?

In the last episode of 'Snowpiercer', we saw an accident cause the entire cattle car to be frozen, eliminating the train's supply of meat. Worse, without the cattle droppings to use as manure, they can't grow new plants either, which is going to make life on Snowpiercer a lot harder than it already is.

With resources running low, Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) is going to be forced to enforce cuts and rationing, which is bound to hit everyone pretty hard.

However, the Tail has lived with limited resources for a long time and unlike the rest of the cars, they've never been given the luxury of meat or vegetables so this is going to be less difficult for them to deal with than the rest of the train.

In fact, it's the rich who are going to really feel the pinch. Used to living a life of opulence even after their actions caused the apocalypse, these people have never had to suffer the sort of hardships that the Tail faces on a daily basis.

Not used to being told they can't have what they want, it's inevitable that the First Class passengers are going to lock horns with authorities. In all probability, the cuts will begin at the back of the train so this will essentially be a race against time to see who rebels first: the Tail, Third Class or First Class.

In any case, things aren't looking good for authorities and Snowpiercer is developing into a real powder keg, one stray spark away from blowing up. And once anarchy is unleashed on the train, who knows what's going to happen?

'Snowpiercer' Season 1 airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on TNT.
