SMCU Express@Kwangya concert: Air date, where to watch and lineup of SMTOWN Live 2022
SM Entertainment is going all out for their year-end project that will feature all the artists under their label. We are first getting the ‘SMCU Express’, the winter SMTOWN album featuring all SM artists after 10 years. It features reunions and long-awaited comebacks from iconic older generation artists like H.O.T’s Kangta, SHINee, BoA, Girls’Generation and more. The project consists of an album, an art exhibition and an SMTOWN Live concert. Needless to say, the label is entering 2022 with a bang!
Fans were over the moon when it was revealed that the ensemble album would feature all their favorite artists under SM. On top of it, to further establish SM’s latest concept – Kwangya — which is the SM Culture Multiverse, we are getting a concert too. The SMTOWN Live 2022: SMCU Express@Kwangya will take place five days after the album release with performances bringing back past hits along with newer chart toppers. Additionally, SM has pleasantly surprised everyone by announcing that the concert will be free.

Where to watch
Fans have always looked forward to the SMTOWN concerts since the 2000s. While there has always been a huge audience turnout, in 2020, the SMTOWN concert went virtual due to the pandemic. But while it was a paid concert in the past, SM has decided to show their appreciation to the fans this year for their continued support. The SMTOWN Live 2022 concert can be live-streamed by fans for free!
The concert will be broadcast online on SM’s Beyond Live channel on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. It will also be streamed on the U+ Idol Live app. It is also available on Japan’s KNTV, Indonesia’s RCTI+, VISION+, Vidio, InsertLive.com, TRANS TV, Thailand TrueID, Vietnam VieON, FPT Play, Zing MP3, POPS and more.
