NBC's sixth annual 'Red Nose Day Special', which helps raise funds for the Red Nose Day campaign to help end child poverty, will include music performances and sketches along with short films that showcase how the donations to Red Nose Day help change and save the lives of children living below the poverty line. The funds raised during this year's campaign will help in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Some of the most vulnerable parts of our population are obviously going to be children. The need has never been more critical to make sure that kids have health care and education and housing and food, all of the things that Red Nose Day and the campaign supports,” ABC News quoted Mandy Moore, a co-host of the special, as saying.

This year, in order to ensure safe social distancing, the Red Noses will not be sold in drugstores as they used to in the previous years. People are being urged to visit NosesOn.com to donate and get a 'digital Red Nose' that can be shared on social media, said NBC. This gives a way for the public to still participate in the event even while quarantined. Here is what we know of the upcoming sixth annual 'Red Nose Day Special'
