Is 'Siesta Key' scripted? Fans list out reasons why they believe the drama on MTV show feels rehearsed

MTV's 'Siesta Key' has been churning out the drama like no other show.

Be it Juliette Porter and Chloe Trautman's fight that led to a police report being filed, or Robby Hayes' relentless nagging that eventually made Juliette pick a trip to Greece with him over her new job, the show has everyone talking.

However, there are segments from the show that viewers say suggest that the drama might all be scripted.

"#SiestaKey is scripted right? I just saw a commercial for it and that was a soapy as you can get, there’s no way it can be real," one viewer wrote. Another expressed their disbelief:  "@SiestaKey must be scripted because I can't imagine @RobbyHHayes being this lame in real life (clapping during fight (how old are you?) and money-maker-face comment (you’re not THAT cute dude)) #siestakey."

"So much drama on the latest episode of #SiestaKey .. btw kudos to the cast... the acting is getting better, even juliette and chloe's fight scene was convincing. Tbh I think everything is scripted except Madisson and Ish's relationship," another viewer wrote.

"#SiestaKey Juliette may be the dumbest girl in the house getting involved with a guy that's literally applauding her for getting physical, but Chloe is again the match setting things on fire. Manipulative bitch... And yeah, I know it's scripted TV," one user tweeted.

Currently, the relationships are all what can only be called 'messed up' on 'Siesta Key.'

Cara Geswelli and Garrett Miller had a weird split, post which Alex Kompothecras wanted to take advantage of. He took his boat out in the sea and invited all of his 'Siesta Key' castmates, including JJ (Amanda Marie Miller's ex). As everyone enjoyed the little cruise, Cara and Alex had a discussion about her relationship and while at it, Alex casually mentioned how she cheated on Garrett, which led to a massive fight and from the looks of the preview, Cara is all set to leave Siesta Key.

Let's hope the cast members are able to iron out their differences and move ahead in their lives.
