Will 'Siesta Key' couples Garrett-Cara and Brandon-Madisson finally find closure?
The couples of 'Siesta Key' are not doing great, especially the ones that need closure.
Cara Geswelli and Garrett Miller haven't been on the best of terms lately. Even though they've tried to work on their relationship, there's always something missing. Their interactions have been reduced to booty calls. On the night of Juliette Porter-Kelsey Owens' housewarming party, Garrett receives a text from Cara, in which she invites him to her house. They have a good time but the next morning before they could even finish a conversation, Cara asks him to leave indirectly.
However, they end up meeting later at Garrett's friend's place, who is married with a baby and that concerns Cara. She feels the only reason Garrett took her there is because he expects to start a family with Cara. But that was clearly not the case. He only wanted to spend some time with her. The uneasiness between them is palpable and one could totally see through the fake smiles they've been putting up so that they don't have to admit to their real feelings.
Garrett and Cara's relationship takes a sour turn at Brandon Gomes' 24th pirate-themed birthday party, where Alex Kompothecras drops by and the moment he does, Cara begins talking to him, smiling occasionally while Garrett looks on from a distance. As he sits by the pool, Victoria and Chloe question him about his intentions with her, encouraging him to talk to her about whatever was going on between them.
They finally talk but instead of ironing things out, they go separate ways with Garrett yelling: "You pushed me away."
Those two weren't the only ones who found some sort of end to their story. Brandon's closeness with Madisson has been bothering her and even though she never admitted to it, Kelsey knew from the way she (Madisson) was looking away as Brandon and Amanda kissed each other in the pool. Kelsey encouraged her to talk to him about it, ask if they were still chill together.
But, the conversation didn't go well with Brandon confronting Madisson that she doesn't get to warn him about Amanda using him because she moved on long ago. He made it very clear that his relationship with Amanda shouldn't be her concern anymore. But one could see Madisson was hurt. Maybe, she even lost a friend in Brandon.
Hopefully, with this, the couples will know where to go here on out. To be clear about one's feelings and being on the same page about it is closure.
Meanwhile, fans have some interesting thoughts about the couples' dynamics that are at play here.
