LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: At this point, everyone knows that Henry Cavill has been replaced as Geralt in ‘The Witcher’ franchise and as Superman in the DCverse. Both of these announcements have hit Cavill’s fandom quite hard, especially those who watch ‘The Witcher’. Cavill has played the role of Geralt with a lot of passion, and it is also reflected in his performance. After ‘The Witcher’ Season 3, Liam Hemsworth is set to replace him and fans are not pleased.

‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 1 is officially streaming on Netflix, and while fans are thrilled about it, they also realize that this is Cavill’s last stint with the franchise. Next month, he will appear in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 2, and that would be it. According to sources, Cavill is leaving the franchise because of creative differences with the creator. Nevertheless, looks like fans have decided to leave ‘The Witcher’ franchise along with the beloved actor.

‘Can’t believe this is the last season’

Since the recasting in 'The Witcher' has been announced, the production for Season 4 could begin by late 2023, and the season may premiere on Netflix by 2024. However, the fans have deemed ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 as the last season, completely disregarding Hemsworth’s entry into the franchise. They took to social media to announce their displeasure with Cavill leaving. One fan tweeted, “Can’t believe this is the last season of the witcher i’m so sad it got canceled and Geralt wasn’t replaced by the worst Hemsworth.”

Another fan wrote, “Part 1 of the last season of the witcher was pretty good, i do hope they wrap it nicely to the show finale tho.”

Fans have convinced themselves that after Cavill, there will be no more ‘The Witcher’ as one tweet read, “The last season of the Witcher is FINALLY here, time to start over and finish the from the beginning ❤️🤗.”

After all this, could Netflix possibly have to reconsider another season of ‘The Witcher’? Netflix is no stranger to canceling shows, so it is highly possible that could be ‘The Witcher’s fate after Season 3. Another fan writes, “So sad this is the last season of the witcher.” One fan makes it a little more clear as to what they mean as they tweet, “Henry Cavill’s last season in The Witcher=Last season I’ll be watching.” Nevertheless, majority of fandom is in agreement that ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 will be their last as one writes, “So we’re all kinda agreed that this is the last season of The Witcher, right?” Netflix might have some rethinking to do.
