However, the fans of the show felt that Reba simply wasted her block on Donny Van Slee.

During the latest episode of 'The Voice', Karen Waldrup was given the chance to showcase her talent and take her career to new heights by performing a captivating rendition of the popular song 'Bye Bye'. 

When Dan + Shay decided to turn their chair for her on the show, they quickly prevented Reba from continuing to compete. John and Chance opted out of participating in the blocking process.

Even though Reba was unable to choose Karen's song due to being blocked, she still commended Karen for her choice. John elaborated that being blocked by Dan + Shay can actually be seen as a form of admiration and acknowledgment of one's musical taste.

When did 'The Voice' contestant Donny Van Slee release his first album?

Donny Van Lee has already released a few singles and released his first album titled '31' on February 23, three days before his 31st birthday. Now, the musician is set to embark on his first-ever road tour in Texas, consisting of five shows. Donny informed Canvas Rebel that he planned to open a chiropractic office in Florida once he finished school. His original plans to start a chiropractic internship in Colorado were altered when his GPS directed him through Nashville.

After auditioning at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, he got a job performing there three to five days a week, while also working as an associate at a chiropractic office. Donny mentioned that his musical inspirations include country artists such as Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan, as well as islander and beachy artists like Jack Johnson. Therefore, his music reflects a blend of these two styles. Donny has released nine singles, including three from 2023. He also released a five-song EP called 'Sip on Me' in 2022. 

Donny Van Slee had a passion for music from a young age

Donny's passion for music began at a young age when he and his siblings would sing together during car rides with their grandparents. However, it wasn't until sixth grade when he received a guitar as a Christmas gift that he began to take his musical pursuits more seriously.

'The Voice' contestant has been performing for a long time, starting in local venues along the west coast of Florida after finishing high school in 2011.

'The Voice' Season 25 airs at 8 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. The episodes will be available on Peacock on demand the next day. The streaming site also includes entire episodes from the show's prior seasons.
