'Shark Week' 2022 full list of shows: From 'Camo Sharks' to 'Counting Jaws', dates and times
It’s that time of the year when scientists and researchers warn beachgoers to not wander out too far because the danger lurks. The ‘Shark Week’ is just around the corner and the television networks are coming forward with a giant wave of programming focused on the apex predator of the sea.
Every year, the US sees the arrival of great white sharks in the month of June and stays till the end of September. That’s how ‘Shark Week’ originated. It began in 1988 on the Discovery Channel and was originally devoted to conservation efforts and correcting misconceptions about sharks. Over time, it grew in popularity and became a huge hit. Now, several channels such as National Geographic, Animal Planet, and more come forward with several projects on sharks.
