LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  Get ready spice lovers, because this week's episode of 'Shark Tank' is about to heat things up! The ABC show welcomes the dynamic duo behind Burlap and Barrel, sustainable spice crafters Ethan Frisch and Ori Zohar. These flavor wizards founded their game-changing spice company in 2016, and they're shaking things up in the world of spices. It is a trailblazing Public Benefit Corporation that is making remarkable strides in the international spice industry. The founders are passionate about building equitable, transparent, and traceable supply chains that prioritize fairness and justice for smallholder farmers.

The latest episode of 'Shark Tank' had everyone on the edge of their seats as the Sharks, including Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Robert Herjavec, assessed Burlap and Barrel's worthiness of the investment. And as if that wasn't enough, the lovely Gwyneth Paltrow graced the show as a guest. While Burlap and Barrel didn't secure a deal with the Sharks, their appearance on the show stirred up a frenzy online. Some fans couldn't help but express their concerns about Gwyneth's presence, given her ongoing legal troubles involving a ski incident. But one thing's for sure: Burlap and Barrel's sustainable spice game is on point, and their innovative approach is sure to spice up any dish!

Gwyneth Paltrow on 'Shark Tank'

Get ready for some serious star power on the latest episode of 'Shark Tank,' as the one and only Gwyneth makes a splash as a guest Shark! Known for her Oscar-winning performances and her thriving lifestyle brand, Goop, Paltrow is no stranger to the world of health and wellness. And with tonight's entrepreneurs all pitching products in this space, she's the perfect addition to the tank.

But despite her impressive credentials, not all fans are thrilled to see Paltrow take her seat among the Sharks. Some have voiced their discontent on social media, particularly after it became clear that she wasn't familiar with some of the companies and products being pitched. Nevertheless, the show must go on, and the first entrepreneurs to step into the tank are the dynamic duo behind Burlap and Barrel, Ethan Frisch, and Ori Zohar. Their mission? To revolutionize the world of spices with their sustainable and ethically sourced offerings. Unfortunately, the sharks aren't quite sold on their pitch. Mark and Lori bow out of the deal, and even after Barbara Corcoran and Paltrow add a $10 million valuation, they ultimately decide to pass as well. That leaves Kevin as the lone shark still in the game, with an offer to create a line of spices under his Mr Wonderful brand. But in the end, he too chooses to bail, citing concerns over the numbers. It's a disappointing outcome for Burlap and Barrel, who leave the tank without a deal. But as any entrepreneur knows, rejection is just part of the game.

'odd that Gwyneth Paltrow never heard of your product'

"Shark Tank has lost all credibility by having Paltrow on the show. No one should take financial or health and wellness advice from this nut job. I hope no one chooses to include her in their financial future." - Fans were quick to react to Gwyneth's presence in the Shark tank. One tweeted, "I can't even remember what Gwyneth Paltrow was famous for.", while another said, "@burlapandbarrel excellent presentation on @ABCSharkTank odd that #GwynethPaltrow never heard of your product. I’m a customer for life." One Twitter user even said, "Gwyneth Paltrow on Shark Tank… F**k NO! I’m not watching this show/ program/airing any longer. How do you spell spit, spit?" Some fans of the show also took to Reddit to express their discontentment. One said, "Why is Gwyneth even a shark? Her reasons for going out are worse than Barbara 😂", while another added, "She is bad this company was good they were doing a lot in sales." One tweeted, "No one told me gwyneth innocent Paltrow is on shark tank now," while another added, "Gwyneth on Shark Tank. The Oscar was wasted."
