It has been a slow night in ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’. Among four different product pitches, one that made it to the shark’s wallets was First Saturday Lime.

The eco-friendly insect repellent made of lime is the initiative of a family of entrepreneurs who came up with this idea of a safer alternative to get rid of pest and bugs than the commonly available pesticides. It makes it better for children and even adults, plants and animals in the outdoors without the effects of harsh chemicals. Their ask for investment was for $100,000 for a 10% share.

When all the other sharks couldn’t close the deal, Mr Wonderful aka Kevin O’Leary took it home at the said number.

Reacting to Kevin’s decision, one fan on Twitter comments, “One deal tonight and it went to the devil @kevinolearytv #SharkTank”.

Lori Greiner, on the other hand, had managed to make an offer along with the guest shark Daniel Lubetzky of Kind Bar fame. She decided to partner with Daniel and proposed to First Saturday Lime for 33.3% of the company so that the three business partners would get two sharks for the price of one. To this, Jana, one of the entrepreneurs and partners of the company, made a counter-offer of 20%, which she extended to 25% for a capital of $100,000. Right at that moment, Kevin agreed to their offer and took over.

This made one Twitter fan play a pun on Kevin using the product, who says, “OMG -- Kevin stole it away from Lori what a sLIMEball #SharkTank”.

“Wow! @kevinolearytv swooped in and took that deal at the last possible second! #SharkTank”, says another surprised fan.

Even Kevin's co-sharks like Robert Herjavec and Daniel Lubetzky commented on his action. Robert said, "Love @LoriGreiner selling that hard — and she’s got the numbers to back it up!!!!! Good luck @1stsaturdaylime!! @kevinolearytv snuck right in there and stole a good one!! #sharktank"

"WOW @kevinolearyt snatched our deal from out of nowhere. Guess that’s why they call it the #SharkTank! But don’t worry, we made him pay for it (yes, that’s @LoriGreiner
’s coat on Kevin’s head). #hungrysharks," adds Daniel, as he posted a photo of the whole team playing a little prank on Kevin.

First Saturday Lime is co-founded and run by Jana McDaniel, along with husband Zac and sister Jessica Jacobs. They are the third generation in the business of limestone industry. The product uses a combination of mineral lime and citric acid in a formula, which was developed by the sisters’ late father. The product is designed to be spread around the exterior of houses. The company has a patent pending for the factory, but not the product itself.
