‘Shark Tank’ Season 11 Episode 13: Fans love Maria Sharapova as guest, hail her support for female entrepreneurs
ABC’s popular business reality show is back with all new episodes and at a new time slot! And it opened with a bang! The 13th episode of ‘Shark Tank’ turned out to be quite exciting as star tennis champion Maria Sharapova joined the sharks on the panel and assessed the business pitches in the same breath as the others.
But that’s not all that made the sportswoman earn praise and applause from fans.
For the uninitiated, Sharapova is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist who owns and runs the brand ‘Sugarpova’. Sugarpova supports the National Association of Women Business Owners, an organization that fosters the development and growth of young female entrepreneurs and dishes out retail goods.
One of her fast running products is a range of candies that are not only delicious but healthy as well. The sportsperson-turned-entrepreneur is an inspiration for many women and fans of the show.
While on the shark seat, Sharapova shared her story and how she got to her entrepreneurial journey, which left some fans feeling thankful.
