Who is Barbara Corcoran's husband Bill Higgins? Love life of Shark who 'hasn't had a sexual thought in 30 years'
The recently aired episode of 'Shark Tank' saw Barbara Corcoran revealing some interesting snippets of her personal life. One of the pitches on the show was for an aphrodisiac snack bar called His & Her bar. During the pitch when entrepreneurs Jennifer and Michael Galagher were explaining how the snack bar worked as an aphrodisiac, they encouraged the sharks to try it out for themselves.
While the other sharks consumed the bar feeling a bit hesitant and nervous, Barbara was beyond excited to try it. She even declared that she might become a permanent customer of the product if it worked. She then proceeded to explain that she needed the snack bar the most since she hasn't had a sexual thought in the past 30 years. When fans heard Barbara's shocking statement, they all began wondering about the shark's marriage and her husband.
A fan tweeted, "Just learned from #SharkTank that Barbara Corcoran hasn’t had a sexual thought in thirty years. #tmi." Another fan wrote, "I now feel terrible for Barbara Corcoran's husband Must have been hard on Bill to know sex was always his idea and Barb was mentally making her to-do list #SharkTank."

So, in case you're wondering about Barb's marriage and her husband, then we got you covered.
The shark has been married to her husband Bill Higgins, a former FBI agent and Navy veteran, since 1988. The couple has two children together, aside from four other children from Bill's previous marriage. Fans of 'Shark Tank' may have noticed how Barb isn't shy when it comes to doing whatever it takes to get the deal. Turns out she applies the same principle in her personal life too.
According to Yahoo Entertainment, the real estate mogul met her future husband at a conference in 1981. Bill recalled how there were plenty of people waiting to meet her, he patiently waited for his turn to have a word with the popular real-estate queen. Although Bill was interested in meeting Barb just for business reasons, the shark was reportedly smitten by the veteran's "million-dollar smile" and declared him the "handsomest man" she'd ever met.
Following a few business meetings, the shark invited Bill to spend the weekend with her. He politely turned down her offer. Reflecting upon it now, Bill thinks his decline of her offer might have made him more attractive to Barb. He said, "By me saying no, I think, knowing Barbara now, that just did it." But she wasn't ready to give up on Bill just yet. Barb continued pursuing him and six months later, the couple was dating. Soon after that, she moved in with Bill and his four children from a previous marriage. Things were moving smoothly between the couple, when two years later, Bill decided to surprise her with a proposal during their trip to Norway.
Surprisingly, the shark was a bit hesitant at first to get married. She revealed in an interview, "When Bill proposed to me and said, ‘Want to marry me?’ I swear to God my thought was ‘Eh, I’m not sure, I’ll give it a whirl. But one thing for sure is we’re in it… we’re definitely committed to it.” Thankfully, she accepted his proposal, and the couple got married and have been together for over three decades.
The couple had their fair share of problems in their marriage but still managed to get through it all and stay in love. She said, "Marriage for me is a struggle every day. I don’t know why I’m not better at marriage than I am.… My husband, Bill, is the ultimate good guy, good man, good father. So that’s a lot to be said." She revealed their secret to their long-lasting marriage as "dogged determination to stay in love".
'Shark Tank' Season 12 airs every Friday at 8/7c only on ABC.
