'Today will always be Your day': Shane Warne's daughter shares touching tribute to late cricketer on 53rd birthday
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Shane Warne's daughter Brooke posted an emotional tribute to her late father to mark what would have been the cricketing legend's 53rd birthday. The Australian spinner died on March 4 at the age of 52 while vacationing with four friends in Thailand. Police said Warne’s pals tried everything they could to save him, even performing CPR but to no avail.
The 708-test wicket great was found unconscious inside his room in Samujana Villas, a luxury resort in Koh Samui. Warne's manager Andrew Neophitou did CPR on him for around 20 minutes before he was taken to the Thai International Hospital, but he was declared dead there. An autopsy concluded he died from natural causes.
