For all those left distraught and hanging by the recent developments in Showtime's hit dramedy Shameless, here's a little piece of sunshine to brighten up your day. The cast of Shameless is reportedly going to make their trip back to Chicago to begin filming next week! Fans will know what this means - that the end half of the ongoing season 9 - which took away from us one of our prized possession, Ian Gallagher - is going to be back soon after airing the last episode of its first half, aka Episode 7.

As reported by The Chicago Tribune, filming is expected to resume for the second half sometime around October 22 and is scheduled to last till the end of the month, that is October 30. So worry not, our favorite dysfunctional family from Southside Chicago is going to be back in no time, and hopefully by then, fans will have somewhat digested the shock and devastating realization of both Fiona Gallagher (Emmy Rossum) and Ian's (Cameron Monaghan) stories ending this season.
