LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Cattrall, the renowned ‘Sex and the City’ star, has been generating significant buzz lately, due to her return to the ‘SATC’ family. Known for her iconic role as Samantha Jones in the beloved HBO romantic comedy series, Cattrall has made headlines after her new TV show was said to air on the same day as that of ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2.

The Emmy-nominated actress had been the subject of much speculation following her apparent disinterest in the ‘SATC’ spin-off series and her relationship with the cast. However, last month, news broke revealing her cameo appearance in the finale of 'And Just Like That' Season 2, leaving everyone surprised and intrigued about the circumstances surrounding her involvement. Her return to reprise the role of Samantha Jones raised many eyebrows as reports have also emerged indicating that Cattrall had specific conditions while agreeing to it and that her scene was filmed on March 22 in New York City without the involvement of other cast members.

Kim Cattrall to make a cameo in 'And Just Like That' Season 2

The iconic actress is all set to make a cameo in the finale of ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2, revealing that her scene was filmed with no other cast members present. Having said that, the ‘SATC’ costume designer, Patricia Field, who also chose not to join the spin-off series, did style Cattrall one more time as Samantha Jones. Naturally, ‘SATC’ fans have been ecstatic ever since the news broke out about her cameo.

However, the 66-year-old reportedly had her specific demands in place before filming the scene, as per Page Six. A source told the outlet, “Kim had two stipulations - one, that she would not act with any of the other girls, and two, she did not want to see Michael Patrick King.” Apparently, she received quite a big compensation for her return, as the source added, “She will have gotten a s**tload of money. It just shows the power of Kim. They still need her on the show. But even though this may get fans thinking she’ll be back for the next season, she’ll never do that. She was treated poorly. I’m glad she gets to be the hero … I’m sure it took a lot of massaging to make the cameo happen.”
