During the game, couples were required to dance on the dance floor, and if either partner wanted to end things, they had to leave the dance floor midway. Serena and Kordell were dancing together when Serena abruptly left the dance floor, signaling an end to their coupling. This sudden action left Kordell heartbroken and feeling like he had been played by Serena. He expressed deep disappointment, feeling that Serena's decision to end their dance mid-game was a betrayal of their budding connection.

"I do still feel stupid, I do feel like played. I feel like a f****** stupid over here, giggle and sh** about this girl, she don't even feel the same way," Kordell said in his congressional, visibly upset. "Obviously she wants to find somebody else, that's cool. Who am I to say right? Who am I to say?" Kordell added with a sad tone. 

However, fans of the peacock show criticized Serena for her actions, viewing her leaving the dance floor as a harsh and insensitive way to end things with Kordell. The incident not only caused emotional distress for Kordell but also stirred up considerable debate among viewers as they rallied that the reality star deserved much more and hoped that he finds his true connection on the show, as they demanded Serena's removal.

If he goes home behind this imma be heated," added another. "Serena needs GO HOME! She hasnt made a connection with no one on the island and continues leading Kordell on," added another user.
