'Secrets in the Basement' Full Cast List: Meet Melina Bartzokis, Nick Cassidy and the rest of the stars of Lifetime's thriller film
'Secrets in the Basement' gives the saying 'there's no place like home' a darker and more sinister twist. The film revolves around a young couple Delilah (Melina Bartzokis) and Shawn (Nick Cassidy).
Delilah and Shawn are desperately looking for a new lease on life after a tragic mistake that Delilah made, which has since led to her mental health struggles. They both hope a new home and a new friend who has designed their house, means their fortunes are taking a turn for the better. However, nothing could be further than the truth, as Delilah soon begins to suspect that she's not alone in her house. She then begins to doubt herself and wonder if it's her own paranoia that is playing tricks on her or if there in fact a dark secret lurking in her house.

Melina Bartzokis as Delilah
Melina Bartzokis plays Delilah Brenner, who was a designer before a terrible mistake derailed her career and her personal life. Delilah has now become quite addicted to various medications to handle the trauma the event had in her life. It's because of her struggles with mental health, that she is unsure whether to trust herself when she begins to see things out of place in her house. Melina Bartzokis, who makes her Lifetime debut, is very convincing as the doubt-ridden Delilah. Some of Bartzokis' previous roles include 'Witch Hunt' and 'Nasty Habits'.
Nick Cassidy as Shawn Brenner
Nick Cassidy stars as Shawn Brenner, Delilah's largely supportive husband. However, when Delilah begins wondering if there is an intruder lurking in the house, he also begins to wonder if his wife is paranoid. He also doesn't seem to be very happy about the new friendship that his wife strikes up with the designer of their new house. Nick Cassidy is perhaps best known for his role on 'Pretty Little Liars', 'The Perfectionists' (2019) and 'The Birch' (2019).
Micah McNeil as Jay Christo
Micah McNeil plays the charming at first designer of Delilah and Shawn's house, Jay Christo. He befriends Delilah, with who he has plenty in common since she was a designer at one point too. However, we soon see that Jay has a vengeful plot against Delilah and what could have been her role in his partner's death.
Micah McNeil may have initially wanted to work behind the camera, but soon found himself in front of it. Micah has landed several roles on shows such as Netflix's 'Daybreak' and NBC's 'The Brave'. His feature film projects include 'Aurora's Law', 'The Au Pair' and 'Millennium Bugs'.
