Superhero films are in fashion these days, and for good reason. Into the mix, comes 'Secret Society Of Second-Born Royals', a film that has faced several delays but is finally seeing the light of day. The film is essentially a superhero film with elements of sci-fi to it as well. According to Disney, the official logline reads: "Secret Society of Second-Born Royals follows Sam, a teenage royal rebel second in line to the throne of the kingdom of Illyria. Just as Sam's disinterest in the royal way of life is at an all-time high, she discovers she has super-human abilities and is invited to join a secret society of similar extraordinary second-born royals charged with keeping the world safe. With guidance from their Secret Society instructor James, Sam and a new class of royal recruits must first learn to harness their new powers at a top-secret training camp before they can save the world."

In an exclusive interview to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Niles Fitch and Isabella-Blake Thomas open up about their experience of working on the film.

Do tell us about the characters and the challenges you faced with them.

Isabella: My character January is bubbly. She is an over-achiever and loves befriending everyone. She is very outgoing and some of her challenges were learning to accept herself, and how capable of so many things, especially with her powers. This helped her as well as me grow as a person.

Niles: Tuma is like Will Smith from 'Fresh Prince From Bel-Air'. He's like a cool big brother. My powers are mind-control. In the movie, I'm trying to learn the dos and don'ts of having such powers. I'm also trying to learn how to be a teenager.

This is a superhero-fantasy-sci-film and is a blend of all genres. Would you like to experiment with this genre again?

Isabella: Definitely. I would love to do another superhero film. Looking at Marvel, and characters like Black Widow, I would love to do something like that. I would like to explore different superpowers, because the visual effects and there are fun things you can get to do on the set.

What superpower would you like?

Niles: Probably super-speed, or like 'Winter Soldier', how they can jump off buildings and land. That's the power I want.

Isabella: I'll do super strength, like Thor.

What were your favourite moments from set?

Isabella: I think just the bonding we did, on and off set. We became like a family and had great times on sets. We would have hysterics during stunts, when one of us would accidentally trip over. We would go to the restaurant and have pizza across the street.

Niles: The funniest moments were when we were in the schoolroom, when we could laugh and joke around. It was really fun.

'Secret Society of Second-Born Royals' will stream on Disney Plus on Friday, September 25.
