'School 2021': KBS drama release delayed as WEi's Kim Yohan tests Covid positive
As idols, themselves, and fans also start getting fully vaccinated for Covid-19, it was expected that the pandemic was finally coming to an end but with the pandemic came the truth that Covid is going to be a part of everyone's lives now and you can never be too careful. Fans have grown worried for the members of WEi as it was announced that more members of the group have tested positive for Covid-19 despite being fully vaccinated.
WEi made an official announcement on their fan cafe stating that Kim Junseo, a member of the group was tested positive for Covid-19 after member Yohan tested positive a few days ago. On November 13, it was announced that Kim Yohan from WEi is currently filming for his K-drama appearance on the KBS K-drama, ‘School 2021’.

‘School 2021’ release pushed back
The production company of the K-drama, ‘School 2021’ mentioned that one of the supporting actors of the drama was tested positive for Covid-19 which is why all actors, as well as staff members of the show, had to be tested immediately. It was reported that alongside a few other cast and staff members of the show, actor and member of WEi, Yohan was tested positive.
As per reports from the production of the show, Yohan showed no symptoms of the virus as he was fully vaccinated already. As a result of Yohan testing positive for the virus, other members of the K-pop group WEi had to be tested for the virus. It was reported that Seokhwa, Donghan, Yongha, and Daehyeon all tested negative for the virus with only Junseo and Yohan testing positive.
All schedules for WEi halted
Both members were fully vaccinated but it is reported that, unlike Yohan, Junseo has been showing mild symptoms for Covid-19 and is currently quarantined in isolation just like Yohan. As for now, all WEi schedules have been canceled alongside the in-person fansign events until the quarantine period for all members is over and then they test negative.
While the schedules for the K-pop group had to be halted, the broadcast of Yohan starrer ‘School 2021’ has been pushed back a week from November 15 to November 24. As Yohan shows no symptoms, the production house of the K-drama is hopeful and positive to be able to release the K-drama as soon as he is nursed back to health.

Free your minds of worries, just focus on getting healthier. 10 days will come fast. You'll be out of isolation until then.
