When David first noticed the lump on his back he did not expect it to become bigger every year and to affect his everyday life. At first, it was just a small lump on his back and he did not think it was anything serious. However, with time, it started growing in size and that is when it caught David's attention.

Looking at the growing size of the lump, David decided to go and visit the general physician to make sure that it was nothing serious. However, when he approached the doctor, he was informed that there was nothing to worry about. Hearing this David thought it would be best to leave it alone.

He hadn't expected the lump to not grow in size but when it came to the point that it was hard for it to go unnoticed, David knew he had to do something about it. His wife revealed that when the lump was small, David's personality was different. She described him as more outgoing and someone who would socialize and would love to be the center of attention.  However, after the lump grew in size, David tried to isolate himself and had stopped socializing. It is then he knew that he had to do something about it and he decided to meet Dr Emma Craythorne.

When Dr Emma first noticed the lump, she decided to examine it to get a better idea of what it was. When she touched it, she realized that the top part of the lumo was harder than the bottom part. This got her worried as she wondered if it could be cancerous. She decided to run some tests to be sure and asked David to come back after a couple of weeks.

Once the test results were back, David was pleased to know that it was not cancerous and Dr Emma decided to go with the surgery. She got him ready for the surgery and took out the lipoma that had been giving David trouble for a long time. However, she was concerned about how the lipoma looked.

She decided to send the lipoma for testing to make sure there was nothing wrong with it as the color and form of it made her question it. Luckily, the test result showed that there was nothing wrong with the lipoma. David was happy to finally say goodbye to the lipoma and get back life.

'Save Mys Skin' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
