If you think the Trump administration is beyond satire, you must not know Trump's lip-sync star Sarah Cooper. Now Cooper is making news as she has recently landed herself in a Netflix comedy special, 'Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine'.

The New York-based writer and comedian has made several videos that savagely lampoon some of President Trump's most controversial comments — by letting his own words do the talking. In the viral clips, Cooper has been seen lip-syncing audio snippets of Trump's speeches and media appearances, adding only facial expressions and gestures to highlight the absurdity of his comments in the video.

Recently, her 'How to Medicals' went viral, in the video, she did an impression of Trump at a press briefing in which he suggested that people inject themselves with disinfectants and use “tremendous” or ultraviolet light to stop coronavirus. The video garnered over 20 Million views.

Sarah Anne Cooper will be hosting the show. She is an author and comedian based in New York City. She has published books titled '100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings' and 'How to Be Successful Without Hurting Men's Feelings'. During the Covid-19 pandemic, unable to do stand-up or attend open mic nights, she made it her quarantine goal to learn how to use TikTok.

Later, she started uploading videos of herself lip-syncing  to Trump and in no time her videos went viral garnering millions of views on each of her videos. She has also caught the attention of celebrities like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Chrissy Teigen, Cher and comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Seth Meyers and was even chosen as a guest host for Jimmy Kimmel Live! And yes, Trump, whom she addresses as her "head writer", has blocked her on Twitter.

Creators

Natasha Lyonne, who has previously directed, Netflix's Russian Doll and Orange Is the New Black will direct the Cooper special and exec produce alongside Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew Behrens via their Animal Pictures banner. Paula Pell, AGI Entertainment's Chris Burns (Cooper's manager), and Dan Powell of Irony Point will also be credited as EPs.
