'RHODubai' star Sara Al Madani urges Chanel Ayan to be like her, fans slam her 'holier than thou attitude'
'Real Housewives of Dubai' star Sara Al Madani ruffled quite a few feathers with her words on the recently aired episode of the Bravo show. Before offending Caroline Brooks with her pointed observation of her parenting skills, the entrepreneur irked fan-favorite housewife Chanel Ayan.
In an earlier episode, Chanel opened up to Sara about her past traumas. Sara suggested Chanel seek therapy, especially hypnotherapy to heal from all the pain and traumas she was carrying with herself. Chanel took Sara's advice and began seeing a therapist based out of Los Angeles. She informed Sara about the changes that she began noticing in herself and praised therapy for it. Sara was pleased on hearing about Chanel's positive experience with therapy and then urged her co-star to be "kind" and to forget all her past pains. She concluded by urging Chanel to be more like her. "It’s never too late to become someone like me. I was not born like this.” After hearing these words, Chanel began feeling that Sara was being very "preachy" and like a "Jesus Christ".

Fans too sided with Chanel and called out Sara for her "holier than thou" attitude. A fan tweeted, "Honestly. I had second hand embarrassment when Sara said this, “It’s never too late to become someone like me. I was not born like this.” #rhodubai." "Sara shouldn’t you want people to be their best self and not giving advice saying “be more like me” #RHODubai," wondered a fan. "I’m sorry but…is Sara actually like a con artist who thinks she’s perfect? What? You can be like me? Who says that #RHODubai," wrote an amused fan. "It’s never too late to become someone like me? Sara are you ok? #rhodubai," questioned a concerned fan. "Why is Sara preaching to Chanal?! We have never seen Chanal be mean. #rhodubai," commented a fan.
