The breakup of Sabrina Soto's engagement to Dean Sheremet adds another unsuccessful romance to the list for the famous chef! The HGTV personality recently announced on the social networking site Instagram that she and her fiancé are no longer together.
The interior designer addressed her followers on Instagram on Sunday, July 3, with a brief update on her personal life. Less than a year after getting engaged, she revealed that she and her fiancé, chef Dean Sheremet, had chosen to call it quits. “Some of you have noticed that I haven’t been wearing my ring." Along with a photo of herself soaking in the sun in a brown swimsuit and some sunglasses, she said, "I decided to end the engagement and I’ve never been more proud of myself.”

In December, they announced their engagement. On the occasion of Soto's birthday, Sheremet proposed to her. A post was then made on the social networking site Instagram by the reality television celebrity who has been on shows including 'Trading Spaces,' 'Get It Sold,' and 'Ty Breaker.' She posted an image of the rose-gold banded David Alan ring, as well as an image of herself and Sheremet beaming after getting engaged. Soto discussed the experience of mixing families with Sheremet in an interview with PEOPLE in February. "It's always a bit of a transition, no matter what," she explained at the time. "So the great thing is that my daughter, Olivia, and Atlas are thick as thieves. They get along so great."
In addition, the interior designer stated that she was still "learning a lot." She explained, "It's a transition for every single person involved. So we're just keeping the communication really open. I've always spoken to Olivia in a really mature way so we've had really good conversations."

When he divorced his wife of five years, Sarah Silver, in 2016, he went back to divorce court. "I have nothing but love and respect for Sarah," Sheremet said at the time in a statement to Us Weekly. "Her love made me a better man. I will always be thankful she touched my life."
