If you've been waiting patiently for a new season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race', you're in for a treat -- 'RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race' Season 2 is all set the air! The upcoming season will see queens Brooke Lynn Hytes, Jujubee, and Monét X Change serving as Queen Supreme Mentors, as they help nine celebs compete for the title of America's Next Celeb Drag Superstar and $100,000 for a charity of their choice.

As always, the judges' panel consists of RuPaul and Michelle Visage, who are joined by Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews. As mentioned, the show also features some fan-fav queens who will be helping the celebs take on their drag personas.

Who is Jujubee?

Airline Inthyrath, known by her stage name, Jujubee, is a drag queen, reality television personality, and recording artist. Inthyrath was born to a Thai-Laotian Buddhist family in Fresno, California and grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts. She had a tough family life, seeing that he father died when she was 15 years old and her mother abandoned her and her two sisters at that time as well. She attended Lowell High School in Lowell, Massachusetts and has a bachelor of arts degree in theatre arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her drag mother is Karisma Geneva-Jackson Tae from Boston.

Jujubee's run on 'Drag Race'

When it comes to queens who have long been a part of the 'RPDR' franchise, no one has done it quite like Jujubee. She first starred in the second season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' back in 2010 and was a part of 'RuPaul's Drag U'. She also competed on the first and fifth season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' and even went on to compete on the first season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World' and participated in season 1 of 'RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race'. She also competed on the first season of Paramount+ singing competition 'Queen of the Universe' in 2021, where Michelle Visage and 'RPDR' alumni Trixie Mattel were the judges. However, not everyone has been supportive of her journey, as she spoke to TVLine about the online hate she received during 'RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World'. “Everybody wanted me to be eliminated that night, they wanted me to go,” she said. “I don’t think the fans really want me to win this. To some of them, I’ve taken space that they feel belongs to other queens who they love.” she added.

“Their feelings aren’t my problem,” she explained. “I’m not responsible for how someone else feels, only for how I respond, and the soul in me just wants to spread love. I’ve gone through a lot of stuff in my life that told me I probably belong somewhere else — dead, you know? — and I’ve managed to not be dead. I’ve managed to survive a lot of s–t, and the reason I’m Good Juju is because that’s who I am and what I do. The fans are very passionate, and I think all of us have been really uncomfortable in this pandemic. The easiest target is a happy, sassy, successful drag queen on a television show.” she explained.
