Who is Kahmora Hall? ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 12 winner Jaida Hall’s drag sister has some big shoes to fill

Kahmora Hall is already a drag legend in Chicago, Illinois, even before getting cast on ‘RuPaul's Drag Race’ Season 13. The 28-year-old started doing drag when she was 20 and her name was inspired by Kimora Lee Simmons. Although Kahmora's first drag name was originally Yoko Tsunami, her former drag mother, Tajma Hall, did not approve of it.

Kahmora's drag is expensive-looking, as she describes herself as a high-maintenance diva who goes for the "glamorous and luxurious housewife" aesthetic. As she enters the workroom in the first episode she says, "The Mackie doll is finally out of her box!"

However, Kahmora doesn't want to be known as a "look queen" or a "pageant queen". In fact, she says that she has never competed in a pageant, and that’s a misconception most people have about her. Five auditions later, Kahmora is ready to take the crown on 'Drag Race' Season 13.

Fans of the drag queen are expecting to be blown away by Kahmora Hall's charm and beauty just like her drag sister and Season 12 winner Jeida Essence Hall. She is a very promising queen who has the potential to go very far in the season, but longtime fans of the show know they should never underestimate the competition and place their bets too early on. Nonetheless, the world is ready to love and embrace Kahmora as one of the newest "RuGirls".

Kahmora is one of the seven queens to get the porkchop in the very first episode and each of the queens were asked to eliminate one person and she chose Utica as she said, "Eeeny, meeny, miny, moe. Utica, you gotta go."

Kahmora is the drag mother of Eva Young, Briawna Banana and Season 11 contestant Soju. Apart from Jaida Essence Hall, she is also the drag sister of Season 8 contestant Naysha Lopez and Season 4 contestant Dida Ritz as they share the same drag mother, Tajma Hall.

After auditioning four times, Kahmora finally got selected for Season 13 and she is in it to win it.

She is known as a big Bob Mackie fan and often performs in his designs. Her entrance look was a Bob Mackie original gown that was auctioned off. Kahmora is also the third Vietnamese queen to participate on 'RuPaul's Drag Race' after Kimora Blac from Season 9 and Plastique Tiara from Season 11.
