Are Blackpink members happy with Rosé's solo pursuits? 'R' singer says Jennie 'made cute gifts' to encourage her

Rosé shared a comment for her fans, saying, 'Thank you so much for your constant interest all along. Thank you for joining me for my very first solo album'

With Blinks on the edge of their seats in anticipation of Rosé's solo debut project 'R', it looks like it's not only her fans who are excited but her fellow Blackpink members too. According to several tweets by K-pop columnist at Billboard, Jeff Benjamin, Rosé's bandmates were very encouraging and supported her solo debut, the singer revealed at a recent press conference. 

Benjamin's first tweet reads, "BLACKPINK members on #ROSÉ's solo 'Each one of them really cheered me on so much. It just made me realize how important encouragement was' #JENNIE made her cute gifts, made jewelry with her new puppy's name on it."

In another tweet, he noted that Jisoo responded to 'R' as if it was her own, adding Jisoo's quote: "I hope you do everything that your heart wishes this time. Just try to do everything you want." He added in another post, "#LISA was also excited about #ROSÉ's album, telling her 'Wow' after watching the ['On the Ground'] MV and Rosé revealed 'she was spreading the word to the staff members' about the great song and video. Rosé laughed remembering Lisa's response."

Finally, Rosé shared a comment for her fans, saying, "Thank you so much for your constant interest all along. Thank you for joining me for my very first solo album. I will say hello to you and move forward with ongoing, amazing performances."

Meanwhile, fans are warmed by Blackpink's shared support for the latest member to become a soloist. "Blackpink members r so kind n sweet," commented a fan while another wrote in all caps, "TEARING UP RN I LOVE THEM SO MUCHHH." One fan said, "i love how supporting jennie is considering she's the only member who's had a solo so she must've known how it must be like. i bet rosie got a lot of advices from her, i love them so muchhh."

One fan said of Lisa, "She is so cute and a whole supportive lil’ sister towards Rosé." Another said, "Lisa and Rose has the cutest friendship." One fan wrote of Jisoo, "Jisoo always finding time in her busy schedule to support her members. How can anyone h4te on her? She's too precious for this world. JISOO BEST GIRL."

Where music groups can often turn sour or unhealthily competitive when members decide to turn to solo endeavors, it is refreshing to see how Blackpink is still maintaining their friendship above all while still working together for the K-pop band.

After what has felt like a long wait for fans, Rosé is set to drop her solo single album 'R' on March 12 along with the official music video for 'On the Ground'.
