'Rock The Block' fans upset that Mina Starsiak was so close to winning, but are happy that she came second

Mina is the only contestant who didn't win a single week, but her house was exactly how a family would want it to be.

Mina Starsiak might not have won 'Rock The Block', but she came closest to beating Jasmine Roth, compared to Alison Victoria and Leanne Ford. Even though she didn't win the series, she was a winner amongst fans who were rooting for her win.

Post the episode after the series announced its winner, and when fans got to know it wasn't Mina, they took to social media to share their love and support for the contestant saying that even though she didn't win, it wasn't half bad. Adding to that some fans revealed that they were Team Mina from the start and even though she didn't get it, they are still happy for her progress and Jasmine's win too.

Mina is the only contestant who didn't win a single week, but her house was exactly how a family would want it to be. The judges themselves were stunned by the beauty of her house, they claimed it was "awesome, fresh and cozy for a family. Her house definitely gave out those comfortable vibes. And kudos to her addition of an extra bedroom. Mina also shared that she put the money on things that really needed love. She added the fake turf which was a standout amongst the judges.

The only drawback that cost her the win was that Jasmine had a secret office space and the backyard pool. Two things that every family would love. There was a minor difference between both their houses when it came to the appraised value. Jasmine's house was valued at $1,020,000. Mina's was just valued at just $15,000 lesser.

Taking to Twitter post the finale, fans shared their love for Mina, saying, "UGH!!! $15K difference! You are # 1 in my mind... Indy loves you and is proud of the work you did on #rocktheblock! Congrats Mina! You Rule!"

"Jasmine and Mina’s houses were both beautiful!! Leanne’s 1970’s rock wall and concrete floors were awful but I love her!! Alison, enjoy your humble pie. #rocktheblock," shared a fan. While another said, "My mom and I were #teammina We really thought we might have it, but that darn pool and extra half bath... Mina you can design our house any day! #RockTheBlock."

Some fans were also upset with the fact that Mina didn't win. "@HGTV #rocktheblock was the most disappointing show you have had on. Time to change the channel. How #mina didn't win and you have it to the pregnant one after the fact was terrible. And @alisonvictoria3 won anything with jet horrible personality is amazing. Terrible," wrote a fan on Twitter.

Another added, "Well my girl @MinaStarsiak may not have won but to all her naysayers she only lost by $15,000 and that’s not half bad! Great job Mina and Congratulations @TheJasmineRoth if it wasn’t Mina I’m glad it was you! #RockTheBlock."
