POTOMAC, WASHINGTON, D.C.: Divorce can be a very messy affair, and nobody knows this better than the women on 'Real Housewives' franchise. But thanks to prenups, most housewives manage to get out of a bad marriage almost unscathed and with a hefty payout (looking at you Shannon Beador). Considering how most of the housewives on the franchise are huge advocates for splitting the assets in half during the divorce, fans were surprised to hear 'Real Housewives of Potomac' star Robyn Dixon go against the grain.

During the premiere episode of 'RHOP' Season 7, the housewife expressed her unpopular opinion on divorce and the division of assets. The housewife claimed that she believed exes shouldn't automatically get half the assets just because of divorce. Robyn cited the example of her divorce from Juan Dixon and pointed out how even during their divorce she felt like she didn't deserve half of Juan's income and assets since she didn't earn it. The 'RHOP' star expressed this unpopular opinion while contemplating a prenup as Juan and she geared up to remarry each other. Robyn was hoping to get Juan to sign a prenup ahead of their wedding as she wanted to protect herself since she was the primary breadwinner now,. The 'RHOP' star wanted to make sure that Juan didn't get half of her hard-earned money, in case they divorced again.

The 'RHOP' alum tried pointing out to Robyn how a spouse is entitled to half of everything even during divorce, but it fell on deaf ears. Fans too were amused with Robyn's views and took to Twitter to remind Robyn how Juan supported her and their family for years even after their divorce. A fan tweeted, "Robyn has some nerve to be conscious of Juan wanting her money when she literally spent all his earning from the NBA on bad investments. How quickly they forget #JusticeForJuan #RHOP." "That righttttt! Robyn did lose Juan’s money & now she has the nerve to say that she wants him to sign a prenup! Did she even pay him back?! Smh #RHOP," wrote a fan. "I stand on Robyn having a nerve to ask for a prenup after SHE lost all of Juan’s millions. When he was the breadwinner, he earned millions. While other fans were even skeptical about the very idea of Robyn and Juan getting married again.
