Apple TV+ has been blessing audiences with stunning works ranging from 'CODA', 'Severance', 'The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey', 'Pachinko', and more that are taking the world by storm, and it looks like the streaming giant has another winner on its hands!

'Roar' is an upcoming dark comedy anthology series that is based on the 2018 short story collection of the same name by world-renowned author Cecelia Ahern. Chronicling eight highly off-beat, yet eye-opening stories of different women the Apple TV+ show is highly anticipated and rightly so. Add to it the fact that the show is by the creators of the hit drama 'GLOW', and you can have even higher hopes for a brilliant watch. Who stars in the Apple TV+ dark comedy anthology series?

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman is an acclaimed American and Australian actress and producer who began her acting career in Australia with the 1983 films Bush Christmas' and 'BMX Bandits'. 1989 served as her breakthrough year with her work in the miniseries 'Bangkok Hilton' and movie 'Dead Calm' shining light on her. She achieved international recognition in 1990 for her role in 'Days of Thunder'. Since then her career has only skyrocketed with her giving brilliant performances in works like  'The Hours', 'Moulin Rouge', ' Eyes Wide Shut', 'Big Little Lies', 'Being the Ricardos', and more. Kidman is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Golden Globe Awards. She has been on Time's 100 most influential people in the world list and has also been named as one of the greatest actors of the 21st century by  The New York Times. She will play one of the leads, with her own story in the Apple TV+ anthology series.



 

The rest of the cast consists of Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Issa Rae, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin as Amelia, Meera Syal as Anu, Fivel Stewart as Jane, and Kara Hayward as Millie.
