'Little America': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Apple TV's anthology series
'Little America' is an American anthology series set to premiere on Apple TV+ this January. The heartfelt comedy series revolves around the stories of immigrants in America and because of its relevant time during social distress, it has already been renewed for Season 2, prior to the series premiere.

The highly anticipated anthology series is set to release on January 17, 2020.
Plot
In 2018, Apple announced the development of a series based on a collection of true stories called 'Little America' featured in Epic Magazine.
Inspired by these stories, the show will "go beyond the headlines to look at the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and unexpected lives of immigrants in America, at a time when their stories are more relevant than ever".
Cast
The cast includes Angela Lin, Jamie Gore Pawlik, Conphidance, Eshan Inamdar and Priyanka Bose.
Angela Lin
Angela Lin is a Singapore born actress who is known for her roles in 'Hawaii Five-0' (2010) and 'The Big Bang Theory' (2007).
Jamie Gore Pawlik
Jamie Gore Pawlik is an actor and playwright and has studied screenwriting and directing. She has completed screenplays titled 'The F**ked Up Things I've Told My Dog' and 'Poughkeepsie' and has won Best Experimental Short from the New York International Film Festival for her short films.
Priyanka Bose
Priyanka Bose is an Indian stage & film actor known for her performances in 'Gangor — A film by Italo Spinelli: Based On political activist Mahashweta Devi's — Breast Stories'.
Priyanka Bose debuted with the stage production 'Nirbhaya' at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2013.
Creators
The anthology series is written by Lee Eisenberg, Kumail Nanjiani, and Emily V. Gordon - they will also serve as executive producers.
Other executive producers include Alan Yang, Joshuah Bearman, and Joshua Davis and Arthur Spector will serve as a co-executive producer. Universal Television is the production company behind the project.
News
On June 19, 2019, Apple gave the project a series order and it began it's filming in early 2019 in New Jersey. Apple has already signed the show for a second season in December 2019 before the premiere of the series.
