‘Rhythm + Flow’ Season 2 is a must for Netflix as talent show exceeds all expectations leaving fans wanting more

Netflix has discovered the winning formula for reality talent shows and has set the bar really high

When popular streaming platform Netflix announced that it would be venturing into reality television with its talent-hunt show ‘Rhythm + Flow’, we were a bit hesitant about how well the show might fare considering there are many other established players in the space such as ‘The Voice’, ‘American Idol’, etc.

However, as soon as we watched the pilot episode of the highly publicized reality talent-hunt show in search of the next hip-hop superstar, we can’t deny that we were totally hooked.

Netflix has discovered the winning formula for reality talent shows and has set the bar really high.

So, after being glued to the screen for three glorious weeks, we had to bid goodbye to the first season with a very heavy heart.

Although no announcement with respect to the show’s renewal or season 2 has been made, it would be in Netflix’s best interest to renew the show.

Season1 saw judges Cardi B, T.I., and Chance the Rapper touring across the country to handpick some of the best upcoming rap talents and bring them to California for an intense competition.

The competition tested the participants on all aspects of hip-hop culture—from group-based cypher performances, fierce rap battles, sampling, producing an original music video, and finally performing before the live audience.

The fans loved everything about the show, and are already waiting for season 2.

One anxious fan tweeted, “#RhythmandFlow was great! I haven't watched any talent shows in YEARS (talking probably since the 5th season of American Idol, lol), but this one was great. The talent was supreme. The guest judges, artists, production, song quality, everything was excellent.  Bring on season 2!”.

Another fan echoed similar sentiments saying, “@rhythmflow wow!! I hope ya'll working on Season 2. This show is a HIT! I love that artists get to remain independent. #RhythmAndFlow”.
