Since the old racist posts of the new 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Jennie Nguyen resurfaced on the internet, fans have been seething with rage. The screenshots doing round on the internet feature Jennie resharing racist and offensive memes opposing the BLM movement, questioning the Covid -19 vaccine, and referring to the supporters of the BLM movement as 'BLM Thugs' and 'thug rioters'. These memes were shared in 2020 during the protests in the wake of George Floyd's killing. One of the memes she reshared reads, "If you follow the officers' orders, you won't get shot." Others read "Blue Lives Matter" and "White Lives Matter".

After facing a lot of backlash, Jennie took to her Instagram on Wednesday evening (January 19, 2022) to issue an apology for her old Facebook posts. While the housewife acknowledged her mistakes and explained how she thought at that time that she was "speaking out against violence" through her anti-BLM Movement posts, the housewife claims to have since learned how offensive and hurtful her words were. Jennie's co-stars Jen Shah, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks proceeded to unfollow her on social media and issued their statements not condoning their fellow housewives' behavior.

While everybody is busy discussing and slamming Jennie's behavior, hawk-eyed fans noticed how neither Bravo nor Andy Cohen issued any statement calling out Jennie's posts or not condoning her behavior. Fans were further upset when on the recently aired episode featuring Lisa and Meredith on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' glossed over Jennie's posts instead of focussing on it.

Several fans took to Twitter to call out Bravo and Andy for their silence. A fan tweeted, "So @Andy that light questioning abt Jennie on #WWHL is not it. Bravo is being real cowardly abt their perspective, and many fans are taking notice. Just ruin a franchise and possibly a network, why don't you #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, "The way Andy is skimming through this huge elephant in the room about Jennie’s comments is blowing me. #RHOSLC." "Jennie is a racist who admitted on camera that she physically abused/assaulted her husband, and @BravoWWHL @Andy started the night off by asking @LisaBarlow7 a question about @Mary_M_Cosby 's Mom. EFF THESE PEOPLE. #RHSLC #RHOSLC," declared an angry fan.

Another fan shared, "So basically no statement from @BravoTV or @Andy about Jennie’s racist trash FB post… #RHOSLC #WWHL." "You @Andy and the network are pathetic. Not even a statement as lame as the one you gave for Tiffany before you ended the franchise instead of firing a racist. And now turns out jennie abused her husband too. There are no words for how awful y'all have handled this #rhoslc," observed a fan. Andy replied to a question from a fan on whether the talk show's episode was pre-recorded or was live recording. He responded saying it was pre-recorded on Wednesday afternoon, which explains his silence on the topic. Andy said, "Show was recorded Weds afternoon. Will be back live on the radio in the am and live tomorrow night on #WWHL."
