There's no denying that Ramona Singer can be a bit vain. During the Season 12 reunion, the OG housewife was called out by her fellow housewives for fat-shaming her dear friend Sonja Morgan on the show. Earlier in the season, Ramona casually made a remark about Sonja's increasing weight and asked her to lose some pounds, after seeing her body in a swimsuit at the Russian spa.

Sonja was completely taken aback by her friend's insensitive remarks but never said anything to her on the show. During the reunion, one of the fans questioned Ramona and called her out for fat-shaming Sonja. This suddenly brought back the bad feelings in Sonja, and she too questioned Ramona about her intentions behind making such insensitive remarks. 

Ramona then reiterated her comments and pointed out that Sonja and she had always been "voluptuous," and it would be good for them to lose some weight. Sonja then reveals the impact that her remarks left on her. Apparently, Ramona's comments left Sonja in tears and pushed her to eat unhealthily. When Ramona heard that, she gave her a standard apology by saying "sorry", while Dorinda Medley pointed out that Ramona herself could stand to lose some pounds. 

While Sonja seemed happy with Ramona's apology, fans weren't too pleased. Several fans took to their Twitter to call out Ramona for fat-shaming Sonja. A fan tweeted, "Ramona telling Sonja to lose weight is ridiculous. While Ramona walks around with pinot grigio pouch #rhony #rhonyc." Another fan wrote, "I’m done. Ramona hella self projects when it comes to weight. Calling Sonja fat?! I’m so glad Dorinda told her, 'you’re not that thin' when she made that remark about drinking water at the bar. Put her in her place sis! #RHONY."

Another fan questioned, "Who is Ramona to tell Sonja she needs to lose weight??! Not that it even matters but Ramona has never been thinner than Sonja #RHONY." "Wow Ramona. Way to shame Sonja into losing weight #RHONY," commented a fan. "No Ramona! We do NOT fat shame anyone, let alone our friends. You are a monster. #RHONY," expressed a fan.
